Here Are 7 Openings To Look Forward to When London’s Lockdown Lifts

From haircuts at BLEACH London to PANGAIA’s pop-up at Selfridges.

With the COVID-19 vaccine rolling out and the UK having spent the past few months in a strict lockdown, the government has announced that restrictions will be eased on Monday, April 12, meaning that UK citizens will be able to visit shops as well as have a drink at an outdoor venue. The new rules come after months of isolating, and with cases down and the vaccine, we’re moving into brighter times.

As London returns to “the new normal,” we’ve put together a handful of store openings and activations you’ll want to check out, ranging from PANGAIA’s Selfridges pop-up to Dr. Barbara Sturm’s clinic opening. Whether you’ll be sprinting to the shops to boost your wardrobe, or running to the salons to get your beauty fix, we’ve got you covered.

If you’ve missed PANGAIA‘s vibrant sweatsuits and its focus on sustainability, you’ve been living under a rock. To celebrate London’s reopening, the label has teamed up with Selfridges for a corner shop pop-up experience featuring its recognizable pieces as well as science-inspired decor inspired by its color process. The pop-up marks the first time since its previous collaboration with Selfridges that PANGAIA will be available in the UK. Take a look at the space above, and make sure to pay a visit once Selfridges opens its doors.

Although gyms aren’t returning quite yet, SoulCycle is solving the problem by opening its first outdoor studio at Selfridges. Opening up in a quiet mews behind the retail giant, classes will require attendees to wear masks in all shared spaces, and slots are already filling up. Salons are Back

Most of us have gone months without a haircut, and some of us have even tried the DIY approach, so salons opening back up is a blessing. All beauty salons are making a return, including HYPEBAE favorites like Shoreditch Nails and BLEACH London, which are both currently taking bookings.
