Barack Obama Weighed In on Our Fascination With UFOs

“There’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are.”

Barack Obama understands America’s fascination with UFOs. As the Pentagon prepares to release a report on “unidentified aerial phenomena” (UAP), Obama took to The Late Late Show with some choice comments on UFO sightings and the existence of aliens, subjects that have recently re-entered the spotlight.

The former president began on a lighthearted note, joking, “When I came into office, I asked… ‘Alright, is there the lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and space ship?’ And you know, they did a little bit of research and the answer was no.”

The politician then took a more serious tone, confirming that UAP are indeed real. “What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there are, there’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are,” he said, official acknowledgement that unexplained flying objects do exist. “We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”

Of course, it’s important to note that Obama’s comments simply confirm that mysterious objects are inexplicably whizzing around our skies — he is not saying that aliens exist.
