BRICKS Magazine Calls for Representation Within Media
As part of adidas Originals’ “Open Forum” campaign.
For the third week of adidas Originals’ “Open Forum” event series celebrating the iconic Forum Low sneaker, the sportswear brand calls upon three BRICKS Magazine editors to discuss representation within the media realm.
Following on from Cora Delaney, Nellie Eden and Ebi Sampson’s talk on the journey to becoming an entrepreneur in the creative industry, BRICKS editor Tori West, digital editor Maddy Reid and politics editor Prishita Maheshwari-Aplin speak on the importance of representing marginalized communities through journalism.
Shot at BRICKS’ photography studio, the trio offers advice to emerging journalists whilst pleading with established ones to research outside their social and community bubble for authentic stories as well as discussing their personal journeys into the media industry.
