Vans Gives Its Classic Silhouettes the Rainbow Treatment for Pride Month
Colorful sneakers to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
Just in time for Pride Month, Vans has splashed rainbow hues all over its classic footwear silhouettes. The pack features highlight styles including the Old Skool Platform, Slip-On, Sk8-Mid and more.
Celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, designs are covered in vibrant hues of red, yellow, green, blue and purple. The Old Skool Platform sees a warped checkerboard pattern throughout the upper and midsole, while the shoelaces and Vans’ signature Jazz Stripes add contrast in white. Elsewhere, the Slip-On features letter patterns that spell out “LGBTQ+,” along with rainbow “PRIDE” branding across the midsole. The same theme is spotted on the Sk8-Mid. Rounding out the footwear range are the Slip-On and Era covered in a patchwork of glitter and canvas materials. In addition to sneakers, the brand has also created Pride-themed apparel such as tees and shorts.
