Swatch's NASA-Inspired Watch Collection Is Out of This World
Five futuristic timepieces dressed in shades of orange, blue or white.
Swatch is set to release a brand new watch collection inspired by NASA astronauts’ spacesuits. The range consists of five different timepieces that celebrate the label’s next chapter of its BIOCERAMIC story.
Made out of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced plastic, BIOCERAMIC material boasts a silk-like feel and is extremely resilient. The white BIG BOLD CHRONO EXTRAVEHICULAR, orange BIG BOLD CHRONO LAUNCH and blue BIG BOLD JUMPSUIT models come with a 47mm BIOCERAMIC case and bio-sourced plastic glass. Elsewhere, the pieces are rounded off with a NASA logo and hands with a Swatch glow. Finally, the TAKE ME TO THE MOON “NEW GENT” arrives with a transparent case, while the SPACE RACE “GENT” sports a mirror-effect silver dial.
