Nike Gives the Air Max 95 a Plant-Based Makeover
Arriving in “Coconut Milk” and “Obsidian Wheat/Blue.”
After unveiling its Air Max 90 “Have A Nike Day,” Nike is back with a new iteration of one of its classic silhouettes. As part of its “Move To Zero” campaign, the footwear label has given the Air Max 95 a sustainable makeover.
Available in “Coconut Milk” and “Obsidian Wheat/Blue,” the sneakers have been reworked with natural dyes and substances made out of around 20 percent recycled materials. Both of the pairs’ uppers feature a blend of cork and canvas, delivering an earthy look. Elsewhere, the underfoot is equipped with the Swoosh brand’s signature Air bubble. Rounding off the styles is the leaf motif and “fig 5. Cork” lettering found on the tongues, as well as the foam midsole.
Take a closer look at both colorways above. Priced at £155 GBP (approximately $220 USD), you can now cop Nike’s Air Max 95 “Plant Based” pack via online retailers like Aphrodite.
