NIGO and Virgil Abloh Team Up for Lv² Pre-Spring 2022 Collection
Louis Vuitton meets Human Made.
After their previous collaboration last year, NIGO and Virgil Abloh have once again joined forces for another LV² collection for Pre-Spring 2022. Drawing inspiration from NIGO’s label Human Made, as well as Louis Vuitton‘s luxury roots, the range combines two worlds.
The collection is filled with suits and tailoring, referencing pieces from the 1950s and the 1960s, alongside roots to Japanese culture. Louis Vuitton’s recognizable monogram is also present throughout, arriving on color-blocked blazers as well as ties and other accessories, as well as the co-branded “LV MADE” logo. We’re also seeing statement denim, graphic tees and bold eyewear – all staple pieces in both NIGO and Abloh’s offerings. Last but not least, bags include co-branded briefcases, duffles and a duck-shaped LV monogram bag.
