Nike Refreshes Four Signature Silhouettes for Its “Be True” Collection
Featuring nine Pride flag patches to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
Nike has unveiled its annual “Be True” collection, which sees four classic sneakers revamped for Pride 2021 alongside nine interchangeable LGBTQIA+ flag patches.
The release features a range of silhouettes: the Blazer Low, the React Infinity Run 2, the Air Max Pre-Day and the All Out Utility Slide. The Blazer Low sees a white leather upper complemented by a pastel pink midsole, as well as a rainbow stitched Swoosh and a collection-specific tongue tag that sits atop a peach-toned, exposed foam tongue. The Air Max Pre-Day is dressed in a vibrant blue hue and a multi-colored Swoosh, while the design finished off with the silhouette’s signature Air unit.
As for the React Infinity Run 2, a complete Flyknit upper is topped off with black and multi-color detailing, alongside an outlined Swoosh in a rainbow gradient. The All Out Utility Slide arrives with a black outsole and a pink strap with a zipper pouch for storage. The three sneakers feature customizable heel tabs, while the slides include a velcro strip, allowing the wearer to switch between the nine Pride flag patches. The Be True collection also boasts a range of apparel, from hoodies to trail shorts and T-shirts.
