X-Girl x Dr. Martens Co-Design Platform Boots and Sandals
Chunky silhouettes with subtle co-branding.
Shortly after its bold red shoes with CLOT, Dr. Martens has now teamed up with X-Girl for the second time to rework its Jadon Max boots and Strap Sandals. The collaboration focuses on the concept of freedom, celebrating the duo’s DNA rooted in independence.
Maintaining the original silhouette, the collaborative Jadon Max arrives in a black canvas upper and is lined with leopard print. The overall look is accentuated with metal eyestays as well as Dr. Martens’ signature yellow stitching along the soles. Rounding out the design is a DIY-inspired silver dog tag hanging from the laces alongside the duo’s co-branding on the heel.
As for the sandals, the silhouette is updated with a black velvet upper, which is contrasted with a purple X-Girl-branded footbed. The shoe is complete with Dr. Martens’ heel tab on the back, while the jagged outsole adds to the chunky look.
