Take a Look at Palm Angels and Missoni’s First-Ever Collaboration

Combining bold prints and streetwear silhouettes.

Earlier this year, Angela Missoni stepped down as Creative Director of her family’s fashion house, with the aim of bringing in a younger customer base. Now, Missoni has partnered with fellow Italian label Palm Angels for a brand new collaboration, providing a refreshing twist on traditional streetwear.

Bold in volume and intense in tone, the collection is comprised of T-shirts, hoodies, tracksuits, shorts, hats, bags and more, pairing Palm Angels’ relaxed streetwear silhouettes with Missoni’s vibrant prints and eclectic design cues. We see boxy tailoring adorned with splashes of color, as well as safari-inspired motifs and co-branded monograms. Stand-out offerings include oversized T-shirts emblazoned with a co-branded logo and multi-hued tracksuits fashioned from woven materials.

Speaking exclusively to Hypebae, Angela Missoni said, “Missoni is a community founded on the values and aesthetic codes set by my mother Rosita and father Ottavio and well preserved in the family succession: it is an open world where we welcome all those who love creativity as a tool to embellish everyday life. With Palm Angels we are sure to find this philosophy also in the new generations, with whom we will have the pleasure of extending the dialogue in the near future.”

Continuing, she explained, “Missoni is an open mindset: we welcome everybody. It’s been our aim since my mother Rosita and my father Ottavio started and over the years we have built both a family and a community. The collaboration with Palm Angels further extends this thinking, in exciting ways. I am particularly proud of this project and the way it turned out.”

Take a look at some of the pieces in the gallery above. The Palm Angels x Missoni collaboration will be available from June 30, on the Palm Angels webstore and the Missoni website, as well as in select retailers.
