Rick Owens Reworks Birkenstock's Signature Sandals and Clogs

Rick Owens and Birkenstock are continuing their partnership with another collaborative drop for the Spring/Summer 2021 season. The designer has chosen to reimagine the footwear label’s Arizona and Rotterdam sandals and Boston clogs this time around.
“Rick Owens continues to play an important role in our partnerships, his voice being totally unique and more relevant than ever. We are proud to partner with this independent designer on such level,” Birkenstock’s CEO Oliver Reichert shared in a press release. Featuring extended straps, the Arizona, Rotterdam and Boston silhouettes come in a sleek all-black hue with black metal rivets and hardware. Elsewhere, the footwear pieces are made out of smooth premium Nappa leather, while the footbed arrives in Birkenstock’s signature cork-latex design. On top of that, all styles are available in an iridescent foiled leather iteration.
Rick Owens x Birkenstock’s Arizona sandals and Boston clogs will be available on June 4 via Birkenstock and Rick Owens‘ websites, as well as flagship stores and select partners worldwide.
