Danielle Guizio x Reebok Deliver Minimalist Club C

Danielle Guizio and Reebok have unveiled their very first collaboration, a minimalist rendition of the footwear purveyor’s Club C 85.
Guizio, known for her bold, bondage-inspired streetwear, brings a more toned-down aesthetic to the classic Reebok sneaker. A white leather upper is overlaid with cream suede paneling, finished off with tonal stitching. White laces and a white midsole add to the shoe’s mostly monochrome look, while subtle “Guizio” branding at the lateral is rendered in a mix of muted pastels.
A press release describes the shoe as “inspired by women empowerment,” though it’s not entirely clear how that inspiration manifests in the shoe or its sale. “The overall theme of the design is meant to uplift and inspire you to get up and achieve your goals with determination,” Guizio explained in the release. “We are lucky to start each and every day by putting our shoes on. Planting your feet into the shoe and then your day begins; the world is yours.”
The Danielle Guizio x Reebok Club C 85, priced at $120 USD, drops on June 10 at Guizio’s website. The sneaker will see a worldwide release at Reebok’s website on June 12.
