Jean-Michel Basquiat's Works Take Over Saint Laurent Rive Droite Capsule
Arriving alongside an exclusive exhibition opening in Paris and Los Angeles.
Saint Laurent‘s Anthony Vaccarello has joined forces with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Galerie Enrico Navarra for his latest Rive Droite capsule. Accompanied by a collection of lifestyle goods, the partnership features an exhibition displaying the original works of the late ’80s artist.
Until September, the fashion house’s Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles will host the exclusive shows starring pieces such as a silkscreen, lithographs, drawings, ceramic plates that belonged to Andy Warhol, a spoon and a denim jacket.
In addition to the exhibition, Vaccarello has designed a capsule dedicated to Basquiat, creating co-branded items including a tote bag, backpack, crossbody bags and more. Standing out from the lineup are collectibles like skimboards emblazoned with Saint Laurent’s logo and Basquiat’s name in white. As for everyday accessories, the creative has made phone cases, posters, underwear and more donning some of Basquiat’s most iconic works.
