Daniel Arsham to Debut Pokémon Sculptures in 'Relics of Kanto Through Time' Exhibit
Featuring Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Porygon, Eevee and more.
Back in May, Daniel Arsham unveiled his Pokémon sculptures as part of his Relics of Kanto Through Time exhibition at NANZUKA’s main gallery space in Tokyo. Now, the artist has announced that he is set to extend his presentation next month at the PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, located on the fourth floor of Shibuya PARCO.
The exhibition will showcase life-sized carvings of the Japanese anime‘s iconic characters such as Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Porygon and Evee, as well as Pokémon-inspired cards of Charizard and Blastoise. In addition, a special limited-edition capsule will be available to purchase at the exhibition, which consists of “ERODED PIKACHU” keychains, tote bags and cases.
