Veilance's Debut Womenswear Collection Is Here
The Arc’teryx-founded label launches women’s apparel and accessories for FW21.
Following the initial announcement, Arc’teryx-founded label Veilance has finally debuted its first-ever womenswear collection. Created for the Fall/Winter 2021 season, the performance pieces arrive after three years of development.
Designed by creative director Taka Kasuga, the range is comprised of 11 premium garments and accessories that are practical and weatherproof. Each item boasts minimalist details celebrating the modernity and craftsmanship signature to Arc’teryx. “We identified the most iconic pieces in a woman’s modern wardrobe and applied a complete technical redesign. Women often have to choose between designer pieces that are beautiful, but don’t stand up to the wettest and coldest conditions or traditional outdoor apparel that is too rigid and harsh,” Kasuga spoke of the collection.
The contemporary lineup uses a variety of technical materials for durability. In the FW21 range, Veilance debuts Polartec Neoshell®, which allows for quiet wearability and protectivity. Meanwhile, Arc’teryx staples such as 3L GORE-TEX are used for waterproof pieces. Silhouettes include a cozy white Cloud Down Coat paired with a simple bucket hat, in addition to the Paradin Slim Pant and Monad Mini Bucket bag. The Allo Shirt Jacket and Allo Trouser make ideal additions to the wardrobe for formal outfits, while a touch of color is added on the green Monad Re-System Pouch. The lineup is complete with the versatile Frame Mock Neck top and the Lota Shell Skirt.
Veilance’s first-ever FW21 womenswear collection will be available later today online, at Arc’teryx stores and select global retailers.
