Teddy Santis Debuts His Second New Balance "MADE in USA" Collection

Featuring footwear and apparel.

Following his first-ever release, Teddy Santis — the founder of Aimé Leon Dore – has debuted his second collection as the creative director of New Balance‘s “MADE in USA” line.

Taking inspiration from the outdoors, the lineup consists of reworked versions of NB’s 990 and 576 silhouettes, in addition to accompanying apparel items. An earthy color palette takes over the sneakers, which include the 990v1, 990v2 and 990v3 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the line, as well as the 576 that features hits of gray, ivory, beige, navy blue and more. Santis’ signature aesthetic and vintage feel are added with the deep red footbed branded with New Balance’s logo, which is also found on the tongue.

The apparel collection features long-sleeved thermals such as hoodies and sweatpants, knits, padded vests and more. Following the theme of the collection, each piece arrives in earthy hues ranging from green to burgundy.

New Balance’s Senior Product Manager Mike Meloski shared in a press release, “This collection is inspired by the beauty of nature and our favorite outdoor activities and gear. The content illustrates the inspiration for the range and the craftmanship that goes into the footwear and apparel.”

Take a closer look at the sneakers down below. Teddy Santis’ sophomore “MADE in USA” drop will arrive on October 27 online and via select retailers, with apparel priced from $64 to $180 USD and footwear from $190 to $200 USD.
