Rave Review's SS23 Collection Celebrates Decadence and Decay

Swedish brand Rave Review has ushered in a season of hedonism and fun with its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Presenting an array of ethereal garments fashioned through a fond, nostalgic lens, the label celebrates the excitement that comes with Midsummer celebrations.
Rave Review merges sex appeal with sustainability, designing Instagram-worthy items with upcycled materials. The collection is filled with whimsical floral prints from vintage textiles are reimagined in the form of asymmetrical dresses and low-rise skirts. Yellow tartan mini frocks take on an edgy look with their cropped and expertly tailored hemlines. Elsewhere, bright yellow crochet gowns steal the show with thigh-high slights and flowery necklines, while the fabric is transformed into a coordinating cropped jacket and mini-skirt set, perfect for aesthetic cafe breakfasts.
Other collection standouts include sturdy dyed denim jackets adorned with sparkling embroidery and slinky sheer dresses with eye-catching ruching. The mélange of garments are complemented by handmade belly chains, hoops and necklaces from the heritage organisation Majblomman, which has been supporting economically vulnerable children with the sales of its intricately designed pieces.
