After Her Divorce Party, Iyanna From 'Love Is Blind' Shares Heartbreaking TikTok

Iyanna McNeely and Jarette Jones of Netflix’s Love Is Blind surprised the world when they announced their divorce — well, somewhat. After sharing playful photos from her divorce party, Iyanna shocked fans with tears in a vulnerable TikTok video.
As of October 2022, McNeely officially filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The two were married for approximately a year, with their wedding in spring of 2021. Although the two were married for a short period of time, Iyanna revealed the “grief,” of divorce isn’t any easier. “I’m crying for the girl that I was at the beginning of this marriage,” she says as she mourns through tears. “I was so hopeful… I was optimistic and I was healed… I’m crying for the man I believed he was — the man he convinced me he was… Cameras left and sh-t hit..”
Fans immediately flooded the comments with sentiments similar to those shared by Iyanna’s mother throughout the series. On several occasions, she expressed fear that Jarette was not the one, and unfortunately, she was proven correct. But, for those assuming love is not blind after witnessing the show’s failed marriages, Iyanna reminds them that these bonds were absolutely real. Unfortunately in her case, Jarette’s inability to “see the value in [her],” will now always cause her to “question [her] own judgement.”
