2022 is vastly coming to an end and beauty enthusiasts are looking for the next “thing” to try that’ll kick off the new year correctly. Look no further as Pinterest has released its 2023 trend predictions and it’s giving very minimal. The category is: Mirco makeovers.

Every year the app predicts the most popular beauty trends of the coming year based on search volume within their website. The visual search engine has us salivating over the “micro makeover” movement that we’re sure will be a big deal across the board. Pinterest says, “Millennials and Gen Z’ers are trading in long coffin nails for short, french manis.” This goes for hairstyles and all other categories including skincare, leaving room for minimal Indie brands to shine.
