Rising Swedish Fragrance Brand Unifrom Introduces Solid Perfume

An alcohol- and cruelty-free product launching with two scents.

Stockholm-based fragrance brand Unifrom has launched its newest product following its popular roll-on oil perfumes — the Solid Perfume.

The rising Swedish brand was founded by Haisam Mohammed in 2020 after unsuccessful attempts at launching a fragrance label in Paris. The 26-year-old, who hosted an intimate lunch during the Swedish Fashion Council’s two-day [X]perience activation last month, shared with guests that Unifrom was inspired by the scents captured in the stairwells of Stockholm’s high rises, where he grew up in. He created samples out of these scents representing the diaspora and brought them to raves and parties, where people began asking where they could purchase these products.

Over the past few years, Unifrom worked with one key product — the Perfume Oil in five scents. Building on the success of these versatile and handy fragrances, Mohammed has now crafted the Solid Perfume, marking a new era for Unifrom. The pocket-sized product features a wax-based, alcohol- and cruelty-free formula that can be massaged into pulse points or any part of the body.

The Solid Perfume has launched in two fragrances — “Oud,” a wooden scent with top notes of cardamom and black pepper with sandal- and cedarwood, and “Frankincense,” which boasts a spicy and woody aroma with hints of cedar, geranium, orange and jasmine.

Mohammed spoke of the release, “Since the brand’s inception, Unifrom has strived to challenge the highly commercialized spray perfume format. Solid perfume is a much more intimate experience, where the scent quite literally melts into your skin.”

Priced at $84 USD, the Solid Perfume is now available on Unifrom’s website.
