Mary J. Blige Releases New Album, 'Good Morning Gorgeous'
Just in time for the award-winning singer’s upcoming Super Bowl performance.
Legendary R&B singer Mary J. Blige returns with a new album Good Morning Gorgeous, right before her game day performance this Sunday during the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.
The Grammy-award winning artist teams up with fellow musical icons Usher, DJ Khaled, not to mention rapper Dave East and Anderson .Paak for the immediately timeless collection of infectious tracks. Starting off strong, Blige has debuted the music videos for “Rent Money” and “Good Morning Gorgeous,” the latter of which has already gone viral on TikTok. In the short film, Blige is the utter embodiment of true confidence, showing off her curves, proclaiming she “needs her peace” and that only she can make herself feel this way. Promoting self-love and self-care, the empowering single has been used in over 40,000 videos on the app.
Ever the Renaissance woman, the two-time Oscar-nominated singer and actor recently won the NAACP Image Award for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’ for her incredible performance as Monet on Starz’s heart pounding and suspense-filled drama “Power Book II: Ghost.”
