McDonald's Signature Shamrock Shakes To Return
Along with the unveiling of the treat’s secret ingredient.
McDonald’s is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with the re-release of its Shamrock Shake and the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.
The Shamrock Shake is made of creamy vanilla soft serve with a tasty whipped topping. Meanwhile, the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry boasts the unmistakable Shamrock Shake flavor laced with cookie crumbs. For the first time since serving this treat over 50 years ago, the secret ingredient for what gives the Shamrock its minty green hue will be unveiled alongside the relaunch. The color’s hex code can also be used to unlock another tasty secret if fans “know where to look,” as per the fast food joint.
The treats will be available at participating McDonald’s stores in the United States beginning February 21.
