UNIQLO Debuts New AIRism Face Mask Featuring a Seamless 3D Design
The nonwoven filter helps block droplets, bacteria, virus-contaminated particles and pollen.
UNIQLO has given its AIRism face mask a sleek update. Officially titled the AIRism 3D Mask, the piece was created in collaboration with designer Tokujin Yoshioka.
“A beautiful design must be simple and innovative, as well as functional,” Yoshioka shared in a press release. “I hope the experience of wearing this mask makes everyday life more beautiful and positive.”
The mask features a clean three-dimensional silhouette and a sharp face line. Boasting a triple-layer construction, the piece comes with a nonwoven filter in the middle, which provides a bacterial filtration efficiency of 99%. This helps block droplets, bacteria, virus-contaminated particles and pollen. Elsewhere, the ear adjusters retain the shape of the mask through the use of bonding technology.
Priced at $14.90 USD, the AIRism 3D Mask is now available online and at UNIQLO’s stores in “White,” “Pink” and “Navy.”
