Chloe Kim has won first place at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. With this result, the 21-year-old is now the first woman in history to win two Olympic gold medals in the halfpipe event.
Following up on her impressive performance at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the athlete did a 900 and two 1080s during her first run, taking a safe lead. Although she fell on her second run, she finished with a winning score of 94, putting her ahead of Queralt Castellet of Spain and Sena Tomita of Japan.
