New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 has come to an end. Before we move on to London, we’re spotlighting the best makeup and hair trends we spotted at our favorite shows throughout the week.

At Collina Strada’s Y2K-inspired presentation, makeup artist Allie Smith recreated the smudged black eyeliner look using MAC Cosmetics. Meanwhile, Kiyah Wright went above and beyond with the models’ hair at No Sesso’s show. The Emmy Award-winning hairstylist opted for extraordinary braids and exquisite up-dos to complement the label’s confident silhouettes.

LaQuan Smith

At LaQuan Smith, makeup artist Sheika Daley went for vibrant shadows and a sharp cat-eye paired with nude lips. To complement the skin-tight dresses and miniskirts, hairstylist Lacy Redway gave models sleek up-dos using products from TRESemmé.

Collina Strada

Collina Strada’s Y2K-inspired collection gave Allie Smith the idea to recreate the smudged black eyeliner look using MAC Cosmetics. Meanwhile, Mideyah Parker styled models’ middle parts and eccentric dos with Aveda products.

Kim Shui

’90s side-swept bangs took over Kim Shui’s runway show thanks to Cutler Salon. Using Stila Cosmetics, Charlie Riddle opted for the single-colored eyeshadow look, glossy lip and natural brow.

Dauphinette

Dauphinette went all out with hair and makeup this season. Models presented the label’s latest designs in metallic blue-green lips by Elika Hilata, while Mandee Tauber created over-the-top hairstyles using styling products from Oribe.

Khaite

Guido Palau kept things minimal with models’ hair by giving them a middle part or braids. Sticking to the simplistic theme, MUA Diane Kendal kept the top half of the face bare in order to make red lip stand out.

Peter Do

Shadowy earth tones grounded Aaron de Mey‘s beauty looks at Peter Do’s presentation, courtesy of MAC. Meanwhile, Jawaraw produced beautiful braids and sleek hair with Dyson‘s offerings.

No Sesso

Emmy Award-winning hairstylist Kiyah Wright did not hold back for No Sesso’s FW22 runway show. Models were seen in extraordinary braids and exquisite up-dos. Nails were also the highlight of the show, which arrived in different lengths and patterns designed by The Neighborhood Nail Witch.

Dion Lee

For Dion Lee’s show, Mustafa Yanaz kept hair simple with braids and slicked-back styles. Frankie Boyd delivered eye-catching creations, including painted arms and dewy foundation.

Christian Siriano

Gina Edwards used the blue hues from OPI’s new Xbox collection to create swirly manicures at Christian Siriano’s show. Makeup artist Sofia Schwarzkopf-Tilbury kept in line with the blue theme with a cat-eye/shadow combination.
