Demi Lovato Teases Their Punk Rock Sound in a New Song Snippet
It’s giving ‘Don’t Forget’ with a more mature vibe.
Demi Lovato‘s upcoming music sounds like their debut album, Don’t Forget, but more adult. The singer took to their Instagram Stories to tease an unreleased song from their upcoming rock music era.
“#Substance,” she wrote on the video in which they’re jamming to their own song, which could possibly be the title of the track. The Disney Channel alum has been sharing snippets of unreleased music on social media since January, which is when they announced their transition from pop back to rock music. As a way to mourn and celebrate, they held a funeral for their old sound. “You put out whatever music you want, whenever you want to. Break the rules,” one music executive told Lovato as heard in one of their Insta Stories at the time.
