Camper's Kobarah Heeled Sandal Is Now Gender-Neutral
The brand is proudly getting with the times.
The campaign features both feminine and masculine-presenting models, and even takes a fun spin on foot fetish photography to highlight the curves of the shoe. Camper’s updated release of the heeled sandal features extended sizing and the new colorways, patent white and orange. The shoe, playfully known as the “cool girl sandal,” wraps around the foot like a cobra, which led to its name, Kobarah.
For those who prioritize sustainability, Camper has covered all of the bases. “Kobarah is designed to be a fully circular product, meaning that each shoe can easily be disassembled, recycled, and turned into something new at the end of its life,” a press release states. The sandal is made from “a single piece of molded EVA to minimize waste and energy consumption,” and also features an outsole made with renewable resources.
The patent white and orange colorways are now available on Camper’s website, with two secret colorways releasing this May.
