Kanye West Has Been Suspended From Instagram
For violating the platform’s harassment policy.
Kanye West has reportedly been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours.
As shared by a Meta spokesperson, a recent post violating the platform’s policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment has been taken down, and Ye will be restricted from posting, commenting or sending DMs for an entire day. According to Page Six, if the musician continues to violate the harassment policies, Meta will take further steps to restrict content from him.
The news comes after Ye directed a racial slur at Trevor Noah on Wednesday. The comedian had said on The Daily Show: “What [Kardashian is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.” Ye also shared offensive posts towards his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
