Pandora's Heroic Collab With Marvel Receives a Nostalgic Noughties Restyling

Unveiled earlier this month, Pandora launches its new collaboration with Disney’s Marvel that sees the comic’s globally loved superheroes assemble in a charm-accented jewelry collection. Playing on the crafty jewelry trends of the noughties, HYPEBAE puts together a fanciful campaign that styles the range with a set of fun and dazzling looks.
In the collaborative collection, the global jewelry brand playfully ties together its ethos of championing individuality with the strength and power that the Marvel Universe is built on. Across the range, hand-finished charms recreate the superheroes that appear in The Avengers series — such as Hulk, Iron Man and Black Widow — with fine details that embody each character’s recognizable features and costumes. What’s more, the dainty bracelet add-ons come crafted with the planet in mind, as its gold and silver metals are melded together with adorning manmade stones.
The addition of small engraved phrases from the movies feeds into the brands’ aim of encouraging self-expression and empowering individuals. Pandora’s creative directors Francesco Terzo and Filippo Ficarelli explain, “We love that every character is driven by a unique purpose. Each piece in the collection symbolizes a different value, so you can carry your favorites with you as a reflection of what matters to you.”
With this in mind, HYPEBAE produces a super noughties-inspired campaign in an epic take of the superhero collection. The campaign lookbook shares a range of inspiring looks that revive the retro trend for the modern-day, taking it from kitsch to delicately ornate. In three playful fits including a fuzzy, purple two-piece number, the model strikes her best superhero pose whilst accessorized in the charms. As well as stacks of bracelets, the pendants hang off necklaces and twizzled hairstyles, creatively showing the limitless versatility of the jewelry collection.
