Teyana Taylor Shuts Down Drug Abuse and Iman Shumpert Cheating Allegations

She insisted that people need to stop “preying on Black positive families that are thriving.”

Recently, a TikTok user re-enacted baseless rumors centered on an unnamed singer’s alleged drug abuse and her husband’s infidelity, which fans believe is about Teyana Taylor. Now, the artist might take legal action against the content creator.

The account in question, @klatschhh, encourages the submission of “unconfirmed stories and parodies” by followers. The names of those speculated to be in the rumored situations remain anonymous. In the video, she is seen depicting a woman “with two daughters” who watches her husband on Dancing With The Stars. Fans have gathered that the allegations are likely made against Taylor since Iman Shumpert was prominently featured on the show last year.

The visual also mentions that a “singer [overdoses on] candy” after she learns that her husband cheated on her. Taylor proceeded to shut the accusations down one by one, beginning with the claims that she fired someone from her team. “The person who sent in this CAP *ss TikTok story is a fool, the person who ‘re-enacted’ this CAP *ss story is a fool (she better have her court coin ready) but the people who believed the CAP *ss story are the biggest fools smh,” Taylor wrote in her now-deleted post. “NOBODY AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOBODY CAN MAKE PETUNIA OVERDOSE ON A DAMN THING,” she added. “I’d kill @imanshumpert fine ass, put him in a nice suit and bury him my damn self before I EVER let him or ANYBODY to push me to do drugs or take myself out.”

The vocalist subsequently called the TikTok user a clout chaser and insisted that people need to stop “preying on Black positive families that are thriving.” She continued: “We got bigger f*cking fish to fry here y’all. Get focused damn smh. Now carry on. Nothing to see here.”
