Bella Hadid To Make Her Acting Debut in Hulu's 'Ramy'
The model will have a reoccurring role in Season 3 of the show.
Bella Hadid is heading to the small screen. The model is set to make her acting debut in Season 3 of Hulu‘s comedy series Ramy.
The series is created by and stars comedian-slash-actor Ramy Youssef, who plays a version of himself. In the show, Ramy is an American Muslim living in New Jersey navigating through challenges he and his family face due to their religion.
According to Hulu, Ramy’s family will be “forced to confront having lived a life dedicated to worldly concerns — and in some cases, lies — while Ramy all but abandons his spiritual journey, instead dedicating himself to him and his uncle’s diamond business.”
For now, all we know about Hadid’s role is that it’s a reoccurring one. In the past, she’s been vocal on wanting to act. In 2017, she told The Telegraph she was taking acting lessons so she could “have more of a voice in the world.”
While Hadid doesn’t have previous acting experience, she is comfortable being in front of the cameras — not only as a model but also as a reality TV star. She’s appeared on multiple episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which starred her mom, Yolanda Hadid, from 2012 to 2016.
