NIGO Adds His Signature Motifs to Human Made x Levi's Collaboration
The streetwear designer updates the 506 WWII Trucker jacket and 1944 501 jeans.
Levi’s has tapped NIGO‘s Human Made for its latest collaboration featuring some of its classic denim silhouettes.
The release is comprised of two styles — the 506 WWII Trucker jacket and 1944 501 jeans. The former, arriving in pre-shrunk 15-ounce Japanese selvedge denim, is highlighted with Human Made’s signature logo embroidered on the back along with a duck motif, as well as the tagline “Gears for futuristic teenagers.” The design is complete with the Levi Strauss & Co. logo in red. The same flying duck figure is seen on the back pocket of the jeans, which come in 15-ounce Japanese shrink-to-fit selvedge denim.
The pieces are captured in a campaign created by NIGO. The designer wears the denim garments in the Eirakukan Kabuki Theater, which is the oldest Kabuki theater in Japan.
