Watch The Weeknd's Latest Music Video Starring Hoyeon Jung and Jim Carrey
The visual marks the model’s first acting gig following ‘Squid Game.’
UPDATE (April 5, 2022): Following the initial teaser, The Weeknd has finally dropped the music video for his track “Out of Time” off his album Dawn FM. As anticipated, the visual stars Squid Game star and model Hoyeon Jung in addition to a surprise appearance from Jim Carrey.
The actor opens the video, checking herself in the mirror as she gets ready to go out. She gets in the elevator, where she meets The Weeknd. “Say I love you, girl, but I’m out of time/Say I’m there for you, but I’m out of time,” the two sing their hearts out at a karaoke bar. The music video closes with Carrey in a surgery room.

ORIGINAL STORY (March 31, 2022): Squid Game star and model Hoyeon Jung is adding another huge name to her portfolio. The actor, who was recently announced to star in Apple TV+’s new series Disclaimer, will be starring in The Weeknd’s upcoming music video for “Out of Time.”
Not much has been revealed so far, other than a still from the visual. In the photo, the musician is seen holding Jung’s hand while looking into each other’s eyes. The shot additionally shows hands trying to open the doors to the elevator they are standing in.
“Out of Time” was released earlier this year as the third single from the Canadian artist’s fifth studio album, Dawn FM. In the track, the musician sings about his trauma from past relationships: “The last few months, I’ve been working on me, baby/There’s so much trauma in my life/I’ve been so cold to the ones who loved me, baby/I look back now and I realize.”
