Your First Look at Margot Robbie as Barbie

Warner Bros. has also revealed the film’s official release date.

Warner Bros. Pictures has finally revealed Margot Robbie as Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming live-action film of the popular character.

The company took to Twitter to share an image of the actor sitting in the driver’s seat of a pink convertible car dressed in a white-and-blue top with matching accessories. Starring alongside Robbie in the movie are Ryan Gosling, Emma Mackey, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera and Ariana Greenblatt. Gerwig’s role is the director and script co-writer with Noah Baumbach. Meanwhile, Josey McNamara and Ynon Kreiz will executive produce.

Stay tuned while we wait for more details on the project. Barbie will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
