Converse Teams Up With 'Peanuts' For Comic-Inspired Collection
The most playful Chuck yet.
Footwear brand Converse has partnered with comic strip Peanuts for a playful collaboration centered around the Chuck Taylor silhouette. The collaboration also boasts Converse clothing and accessories and gives the wearer the opportunity to customize their own chucks.
Inspired by the memorable stories of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, the collection fuses the comic’s fun aesthetic with heritage details and ensures that there’s something for everyone. Standout pieces include the Chuck 70 silhouette, which boasts an all-over Woodstock camouflage print, and the One Star which features Snoopy and Woodstock graphics. Elsewhere, the collection showcases the best of Converse apparel through a range of graphic T-shirts, polo shirts and shorts.
Alongside apparel and footwear, the Converse and Peanuts collaboration features a range of branded accessories including a bucket hat and a backpack, both adorned in comic book-style sketches. The collection’s color palette is bold but minimal, focusing on primary colors like red, with accents of yellow, black and white.
As part of the collection, Converse’s digital customization experience allows fans to choose additional Peanuts characters or comic strips to feature on their shoes, available for Chuck Taylor All Star and Slip-on silhouettes. For Converse, the Peanuts collaboration is a fun addition to a long list of iconic collaborators including Rick Owens, Stussy and COMME des GARÇONS PLAY.
