Givenchy Has a Disney Collaboration on the Way
Spotlighting ‘Frozen,’ ‘Bambi’ and more.
While the designer is set to present his first couture collection for the fashion house this coming July, Matthew Williams announced that he has a Disney x Givenchy collaboration in the works.
Not much has been revealed so far, other than a short teaser video for each of four iconic films from the Disney franchise. The first spotlights Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who was featured in short films in the ’20s and ’30s. The second reveals Bambi, the beloved deer, and the third the dogs from 101 Dalmatians. The final teaser highlights Frozen II, specifically Olaf and Elsa.
According to a press release, the partnership will be a “limited-edition capsule collection of luxury ready-to-wear,” which will likely feature co-branded apparel.
