James Corden Directs Harry Styles' "Daylight" Music Video With $300 USD

Everything was filmed in 3 hours.

Harry Styles has been breaking records with his latest album Harry’s House, dominating charts worldwide. For “Daylight,” one of his tracks on the record, the musician has teamed up with James Corden to film and direct a special music video.

The Late Late Show‘s host and the musician landed in Brooklyn, New York with just three hours and $300 USD to shoot the visual. As shared in a BTS clip, the two run around the neighborhood to find a home to film the music video in. After knocking on a few doors, they find themselves in an apartment with a group of girls, one of whom turns out to be a fan of One Direction and Styles. For their project, the residents, Styles and Corden work together on styling and props, while hosting a party towards the end. “Is it too late to just do Carpool Karaoke?” Styles jokes at one point.

Watch the unexpectedly high quality music video above and the behind-scenes down below. Harry’s House is now available on major streaming platforms.
