Y2K Phone Strap Brand String Ting Donates 100% Of Profits to AIDS Organization
All of the proceeds from the ‘Over The Rainbow’ phone strap will go to Act Up.
In honor of Pride Month, London-based tech accessory brand String Ting will be donating all of the profit made from its “Over The Rainbow” phone strap to Act Up, an organization committed to advocating for those living with AIDS. Established in the 1980s, at the height of the epidemic, Act Up is dedicated to ending the AIDS crisis through awareness, government action and protest.
Founder Rachel Steed-Middleton shares with us over email, “String Ting was born from giving back and we feel it’s important to support the LGBTQ+ community. A mentor of mine is a founding member of Act Up and I am so honored to be donating 100% of the profits from our ‘Over The Rainbow’ Ting for Pride this year.” The colorful phone strap is teeming with high quality cut crystals, uber-saturated rainbow beads and the finest Japanese seed beads.
