Woolrich Ventures Outdoors for SS23 Collection

The timeless brand celebrates the heart of American culture.

Heritage brand Woolrich explores the great American outdoors with its new Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Revisiting its extensive archive, the inimitable fashion label takes us on a journey through three separate vignettes — “Pennsylvania Walk,” “American Road Trip” and “Lakeside Summer”. The entire collection is crafted with conscious materials and natural dyes for a more sustainable approach.

Featuring clothing suited for the start of spring until the dog days of summer, the first iteration of the capsule travels to Pennsylvania, reimagining Americana culture through a fresh and modern lens. The state’s national flower, the Mountain Laurel, appears on quilted puffer jackets in a muted colorway, resulting in ultra-comfortable outerwear that mimics the surrounding nature. The pattern comes back in the form of a down vest for a more playful option and arrives in check patterns, as well.

The “American Road trip” showcases more grungy and moody naturals alongside vibrant pops of pink and pistachio green. Perfect for a city-like setting, the micro camo jacket bears an updated silhouette, flaunting a cropped shape. Elsewhere, the utility outerwear option excels in performance as the garment is water repellent and boasts patch pockets, as well as a detachable hood. Closing out the season with “Lakeside Summer,” the last drop in the collection is inspired by waterside activities, grounding the pieces in airy natural cotton and linen. Nautical madras checks inspire wearers to sit out by the dock, while the printed poplin dress is a beautiful option for summer nights.
