Hi-Tec's HTS74 SS23 Lookbook Revives the Line's Signature Silhouettes
Including the Silver Shadow RGS.
British brand Hi-Tec just launched the Spring/Summer 2023 lookbook for its footwear line, HTS74. Established back in 1974, the line is made up of performance-based styles with heritage uppers and contemporary design. The new lookbook offers a revamped take on some of the line’s signature silhouettes, including the Silver Shadow RGS, GTR and Elite RGS.
First developed 11 years ago, the Silver Shadow RGS has since cemented its fashion status amidst designers like John Galliano and brands like Our Legacy. Designed to assist the natural roll of the foot, the sneaker seamlessly blends form with flexibility and aims to optimize energy output and reduce muscle fatigue. The new offering features a redesign of the shoe’s upper, with added Vibram RGS midsole technology.
Elsewhere, the GTR silhouette (General Terrain Runner) is adapted to transcend its running heritage, branching out into the realms of outdoor and hiking. The final style, HTS74’s Elite RGS, draws inspiration from the Adrenalin Pro Elite, the highly technical squash trainer. For SS23, the sneaker has been revamped with a Vibram RGS outsole for added comfort and performance.
Split into three core drops, the new seasonal offering from HTS74 utilizes bold colors taken from ’80s Vaporwave furniture alongside more subtle, pastel hues inspired by nature’s ability to develop its own color palettes based on the seasons.
