Jordan Brand and Howard University Announce Multi-Year Partnership

Supporting the HBCU’s students, athletes and recruitment programs.

Jordan Brand announces a 20-year partnership with historically Black college, Howard University. The collaboration aims to highlight the school’s athletic department and improve its recruitment opportunities.

Additionally, Jordan plans to set up academic programs to foster talent both on and off the field. Jordan Brand President Craig Williams said, “Howard University and Jordan Brand share a legacy of excellence and deep commitment to the Black Community. As a HBCU graduate, I understand the educational impact an institution like Howard University has. We are proud to partner with Howard University and see the growth in Black talent on the field and well beyond it.”

Michael Jordan himself is pledging $100 million USD to the Black community, with initiatives to create systemic change.
