The Women's "Pink Oxford" Nike Dunk Breaks Through the Monotony
That aged midsole is ::chef’s kiss::
There’s no shortage of Nike Dunks on the market. Not by a long shot. While one can attribute the popularity to a host of factors from celebrity endorsements to resell culture at large, to put it simply — its a classic that’s easy to style for those intimidated by the sneaker space.
The silhouette ranges from experimental models (see: the Cactus Plant Flea Market Grinch-inspired pair) to a litany of traditional colorblocked iterations combining a titular shade against white. The latest women’s exclusive switches things up with a “Pink Oxford/Light Thistle/Phantom” colorway, with the striking lilac shade taking over the Swoosh.
An aged midsole elevates the pair, taking it from a general release to a stylized Dunk that could have easily been a collaborative model. Are tryptic colorways and yellowed midsoles the answer to Dunk fatigue? All signs point to yes.
Take a closer look at the forthcoming release in the gallery above and mark your calendars for its September 2 release for $110 USD.
