Ralph Lauren Returns as the US Open's Official Outfitter

For the brand’s 17th year.

Iconic American brand Ralph Lauren has just unveiled the 2022 uniforms for the US Open Tennis Championships. Tapped as the Official Outfitter since 2005, the storied fashion label is releasing a commemorative collection of apparel, alongside the uniforms it designs for over 250 on-court officials and 400 ball crew members.

Offering athleisure at its finest, the 2022 US Open collection features bold and bright colors in the form of modern and sleek silhouettes that do not compromise on performance. Inspired by the tennis court, the Ralph Lauren ball crew member Polo is adorned with abstract white lines, separating pops of navy, orange and green. Preppy cable-knit sweaters arriving in cream bear a pop of orange around the v-shaped neckline with navy-trimmed sleeves. Accessories round out the sports-inspired collection as matching backpacks and bucket hats allow you to dress like a pro from top to bottom.

The celebratory collection also strengthens Ralph Lauren’s commitment to sustainability as the ball crew Polo shirt will once again be made with yarn derived from recycled plastic bottles. Ralph Lauren and Wilson will also continue their joint efforts to collect Wilson plastic tennis ball cans during the tournament for future fabric production. This year, Ralph Lauren will also act as the Official Sunglass Sponsor and will carry two styles featuring the Pony player and US Open logos in a shiny Havana colorway.

Take a look at Ralph Lauren’s 2022 US Open Tennis Championships collection, which will be available during the tournaments on the brand’s website for purchase.
