Shanghai-based brand SHUSHU/TONG has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, presenting subversively feminine garments.
Founded by Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang in 2015, the brand is an expert in balancing kitschy and saccharinely sweet detailing with an effortlessly cool aura. The female-owned label’s latest offering is a range of haunting yet flirty frocks. SHUSHU/TONG’s FW22 collection is grounded in a neutral color palette of black and white, spotted with pops of dizzying prints. Standouts include a calf-length utilitarian-esque dress with lace delicate adorning the neckline.
Elsewhere, a voluminous red and white day dress sits alongside a Wednesday Addams-inspired ensemble, complete with floral-printed socks and Mary Janes. SHUSHU/TONG carries its Victorian theme, presenting floor-length tiered shifts and school girl-appropriate skirts bearing eyelet trimming. Adding a dose of color to its collection in the form of the shade apricot, delivering austere skirt suits made feminine with oversized Peter Pan collars and bow accents.
