Diesel takes a larger-than-life approach to its Larger-Than-Life Fall/Winter 2022 campaign, transforming models into giant billboard cutouts, posing across the city’s skyscrapers.
Captured by Johnny Dufort, the denim-heavy collection is brimming with Diesel’s signature sense of unapologetic confidence and joy. Grounded in a color palette of earthy browns, saturated shades of orange and futuristic chrome, the brand’s latest offerings deliver utterly cool statement-making garments. Playing with texture, pure denim pieces bear frayed hems at the pocket and waste, while upcycled jersey is bonded to denim, resulting in artisanal “Peel Off” pieces.
Candy-colored skirt sets standout alongside denim mini skirt-belt hybrids. Motorcycle jackets provide just the right amount of edge and grit psychedelic prints cover oversized co-ords. An earthy brown cropped jacket with contrasting green ‘70s-esque shearling trim steals the show while a metallic longline outerwear piece immediately catches the eye. Diesel’s seminal logo appears on responsibly sourced wool big logo knits and reversible puffers, while the runway show Diesel D ring arrives on knee-length dresses, cut out tops, belts and shoes.
