Everything Hypebae Editors Wore During London Fashion Week SS23

From rented pieces to inherited bags, take a look at our editors’ favorite looks.

Now that London Fashion Week is over and the media is overflowing with Milan and Paris Fashion Week street style guides, it is time to look back and appreciate the carefully selected looks the Hypebae U.K. team wore during fashion’s favorite time of the year.

With London being the rebel city of Fashion Month, LFW is the perfect opportunity to use color, texture, layers and volumes as you have never done before. However, stepping out of your comfort zone is not easy when photographers are taking over the streets, and you have to run from one side of the city to another to arrive at an event in time. The Hypebae team chose pieces that could go the distance and offered both comfort and glamor.

From rented pieces to inherited bags, keep scrolling to see what our editors wore throughout the week.

Cait Monahan, Managing Editor

To start things right, Cait wore a green Jacquemus cut-out blazer minidress, a matching AGR Knit bucket hat, a delicate Bottega Veneta chain pouch bag in red and iconic Filles à Papa denim boots. For Day 2, the managing editor rocked a monochromatic look comprising a jacket, skirt and boots from Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, a black lace PINKO dress and a faux fur Feng Chen Wang bag in black. The following day, she styled a Lacoste shirt, Versace tie, Hot Futures sunglasses and EB Denim bag to make a statement look. An A. Roege Hove sleeveless knit dress, a dazzling silver-tone KARA bag and elevated Martin Rose x Nike sneakers in white were part of Cait’s final LFW look.

Navi Ahluwalia, Editor

For the first day of LFW, Navi wore a timeless denim coat from Weekday, yellow Charles & Keith shoes and a matching Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag, rented from HURR — proving the key to a front-row look is all in the accessories. For Day 2, she opted for her favorite brands, including a multicolored Bethany Williams shirt, Stine Goya‘s Ronja trousers in green and a JW PEI Gabbi bag in similar hues. She spiced things up for Day 3 with a Wood Wood twill vest over a plain white shirt, a Susan Fang stripe frill miniskirt, Charles & Keith leather boots and a Stine Goya leather bag. To show luxury is a state of mind, Navi said goodbye to LFW by fusing a dreamy tulle-based Susan Fang shirred top with an oversized yard sale pizza jacket from a Charity Shop and a blue Charles & Keith bag.

Sofia de la Cruz, Editorial and Strategy Intern

Sofia started LFW wearing a Kiko Kostadinov pink Tiwi striped vest and a second-hand faux leather skirt layered over Han Kjøbenhavn knit trousers, along with silver Marni sunglasses and a nylon Prada tote. For Day 2, she wore a Balenciaga black active top, COMME des GARÇONS wool cardigan, khaki Diesel cargo trousers and a Loewe bag from her grandma. On Day 3, Sofia chose a total Jil Sander look, comprising a black sheer ruffled top and asymmetric skirt. The look also included Maison Margiela Tabi boots, a Kate Moss x Zadig & Voltaire bag and The Unseen makeup. For the final day of LFW, she wore a black Courrèges turtleneck, a matching cap, a gray Pleats Please Issey Miyake skirt, a vintage leather coat and gray knee-high boots.
