Acne Studios Gets Lucky With Lunar New Year Collection

In collaboration with artist Apollinaria Broche.

Acne Studios celebrates the Lunar New Year with ceramic artist Apollinaria Broche, delivering a wondrous collection of wearable and decorative art.

Embracing the spirit of the rabbit, the capsule follows the adventures of an adorable, wide-eyed rabbit named Bun Bun, bringing a sense of joy and play to the festive offering. The animal symbolizes luck in the Chinese zodiac, so each item is infused with a bit of luck, guarding whomever wears the tenderly crafted pieces.

Merging Broche’s talent with the Stockholm-based brand’s inimitable aesthetic, the collection includes bite-sized rabbit pendants, dangling from edgy chain necklaces, alongside a ’90s-inspired single silver hoop earring. Elsewhere, a soft pink blanket perfectly presents the gentle spirit of the revered animal, keeping its owner warm and cozy as it is outfitted with an illustrated of the cuddly creature. The charming collection also features an array of limited-edition enamel sculptures that capture the BUN BUN in a variety of moods and actions, like hiding in Acne Studios’ Musubi Bag, bringing the character to life.

Golden Horse winning-actor Vicky Chen gets to spend the day with the adorable rabbit as she plays the role of BUN BUN’s best friend, meandering around Beijing, window shopping for trinkets, much like the Musubi Bag.

Take a look at Acne Studios x Apollinaria Broche’s Lunar New Year campaign in the gallery above. The collection is available in stores worldwide. The launch also comes with a mini game available on WeChat on January 16.
