PUMA and female-founded brand KOCHÉ are joining forces to celebrate women in sports, merging fashion with fitness to present a dynamic collection of athleisure.
Inclusive of gender, body, social and geographic diversity, the melangé of garments are meticulously designed to support a range of movements and activities. Central Saint Martens graduate Christelle Kocher shares in an exclusive press release, “Ultimately, the collection’s goal is to support women in reclaiming their rightful place in the sports space and to help motivate them to stay active at a time when women are standing out as the movers and shakers in the active industries worldwide.”
Marry KOCHÉ‘s distinctive aesthetic with PUMA’s expertise in function, the collection is filled with staples that could easily be worn in and out of the gym. Tops mimic corsets with the help of carefully placed stitching, while long-sleeve T-shirts crafted from ethereal tulle deliver a delicate touch. Elsewhere, futuristic color-shifting reflective jackets, vests and fanny packs add a vibrant high-shine to standard sportswear staples. Meanwhile, leggings take a demure, feminine approach with an lace-inspired embossed treatment, whereas trousers and windbreakers bear crisse-crossed detailing.
Accessories are not left behind as a generously oversized gym bag is made more elegant with draped fabric, while classic-cut running shoes provide optimal support and comfort on the pavement.
