HBX Taps Human Made, Needles and MADSAKI to Design Exclusive Lunar New Year Red Packets

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the global e-commerce and retail platform HBX has partnered up with cult-loved brands Human Made and Needles, as well as artist MADSAKI, to create a set of exclusive red packets. Symbolic of fortune and joy, wealth and prosperity, the offering is available in three unique graphics and arrives in vibrant red and gold hues.
Tokyo-based lifestyle Human Made opted for a gold rabbit motif to welcome the Lunar New Year, which is underscored by the label’s signature moniker, “Gears for futuristic teenagers.” Meanwhile, Needles adorned the red packet with its iconic text logo in an embroidery frame alongside traditional clouds and geometrical shapes. Elsewhere, artist MADSAKI adopted his ubiquitous smiley face with a dripping nose and added the cheerful phrase, “Happiness Overdose.”
The red packets are offered as a gift upon purchase of $1,500 HKD or more at the HBX Hong Kong store or any purchase of $250 USD at HBX’s website and the HBX New York Store while stock lasts.
