Fendi Debuts Bags Literally Shaped Like Baguettes on FW23 Menswear Runway

A playful take on the iconic Baguette bag.

You may have heard of Fendi‘s iconic Baguette bag, but have you seen Silvia Venturini Fendi‘s latest clutches that are, literally, shaped like loaves of the French baguette?

The designer showcased her Fall/Winter 2023 menswear collection for the house at Milan Fashion Week Men’s, delivering looks focused on “sophisticated comfort.” Marking one of the strongest collections of the week, the runway featured a mix of trompe l’oeil detailing playing around with texture and color. Standing out from the collection were the accessories, which included designs shaped like baguettes.

While the original Fendi Baguette was reimagined with multiple utility pockets, Venturini Fendi showcased woven FF cashmere bucket bags, which carried fuzzy loaves of baguette inside of them. The collection continued with the same clutch fastened in an actual Baguette bag. The playful take on the Fendi icon further continued with the bread making an appearance as an umbrella holder.

We’re expecting these accessories, which will likely take over our Instagram feeds, to launch later this year in the Fall 2023 season. Take a closer look at the designs above and watch the Fendi FW23 menswear show below.
